Poster at the Letterpress Things
I was so happy to get to go to Letterpress Things after thanksgiving while we were in MA, that place is amazing! More photos soon, but I wanted to share this awesome poster — “When I get a little money, I buy type and presses and if any is left, I buy food & clothes” Love all the types, especially, the “TYPE” and “PRESSES” — beautiful!!
oh and the top poster that reads “This place is filled with Printing Junque” is so perfect for the shop I have nothing else to say.

Found Type: Brooklyn Flea
Good morning. How was your weekend? Good, I hope! I started my holiday shopping, pulled out and decorated our Christmas tree (pictures soon)… gosh, I forgot how much I love the holidays! The city is really pretty, it’s worth going outside even though it’s in 30 degrees… aw
I stopped by Kings County General Store (I’ll be showing this Sunday, Dec 12th!) and Brooklyn Flea yesterday and found lots of types besides other things. I lost few images on my iPhone (she’s been acting crazy lately) but here are some that survived and wanted to be shared!

The Handy Book of Artistic Printing
I should have grabbed this book called The Handy Book of Artistic Printing when I was at Barnes and Noble last week… it looked awesome! and I can’t stop thinking about it since… I mean, look at the cover and the subtitle — “a collection of letterpress examples with specimens of type, ornament, corner fills, borders, twisters, wrinklers, and other freaks of fancy.” — aww sounds super! (and I looked inside a little and I just couldn’t look at it all because it was too good to just flip through!)
I am ordering one after posting this picture of the book I took when I realized that I didn’t have the B&N gift card with me and thought I could find it online so I didn’t have to carry it around… can’t wait to get this!!!
