I love my cup of coffee every morning. I really do. Sometimes, I wake up just so I can have a fresh cup. It is my big motivation and inspiration everyday :) We actually love this coffee from San Francisco, called Blue Bottle Coffee (we used to live right around the corner from their Hayes Valley kiosk) and we just couldn’t have anything else after drinking that coffee everyday and now that we live in NYC, we actually subscribe their coffee twice a month ever since we moved here. (oh, I actually have blogged about it before! I will keep saying this over and over.) Yes, it is THAT good. And it is so worth waking up for.

Anyway. I’ve been finding some coffee related cool items here and there so I thought I should share my coffee love to you today <3 Enjoy!

It was time to print more Live What You Love posters! I printed total of 6 colors in this batch and they are available right here at my etsy shop :)

And did you know this is all coming from an advertising campaign for New York City?! (I tried to look for the original commercial on YouTube, but I couldn’t find the right one…) I didn’t know that until I saw the movie Art & Copy — pretty amazing to think about how ad campaign effects soo many things even 30-40 years later!

Hello! I am back from my trip to Washington D.C. — it was such a fun trip, it was so fun that it is so very hard today to even get up… but I do have a lot to do and so when I saw this new poster from Ork Poster “The Brain,” I immediately got drawn to it — I need the brain right now!

I’ve been a fan of Ork Poster, I have 3 of their city neighborhood posters, their typography design with the city and now with the anatomy series is always so great.

This morning, I am inspired by the ABCs by Honey & Bloom. I love how all the different colored alphabet is overlapping together very nicely… very harmonically…

PLINC Behemoth R poster from House Industries — I love that it’s just one BIG alphabet, how cool would that look on the wall! Bold and nice shaped alphabet is all you need :) I actually would love one for my new office…

Cool poster I came across entitled “STATES UNITED” — the heart shape in the middle is made out of each American state shapes all layed out differently and nicely, you can also see each shape / each state name on the bottom… I love the concept!!

“A xylene transfer is like a screenprint, but without the screen, and the artwork is hand-transferred inch by inch over a long hour.” — I never heard the technique, but it sounds like a long process… it definitely shows, I love the textures.
