DIY: Flower Arrangement

I did a very easy flower arrangement for the shower :) Just by using 2 stems of white hydrangeas & 2 stems of pink gerbera daisies (they are two of my favorites! and our wedding flowers, too) — came out so cute, I was so happy (and still happy to look at today)!! All you do is to cut them to the length of the base and make them shape rounder, which is easy since both of them already have the shape.

I made 3 of these and placed on bar table, food table and desert table.

and I placed 2 stems of pink gerbera daisies in a simple tall glass base in the bathroom for an extra touch :)

I love having flowers around the house, I should do that more often!

Inspiration: Beautiful Flowers

When we went to Bubby’s for a dinner the other day, I couldn’t help but notice all the flowers in the store. These were from ladies’ room, but the colors and everything inspired me :)

I’ve been getting ideas and inspirations together for our baby’s nursery, these colors (light pinks, peach pinks, yellows, whites and light greens) are calling my name…

Ikebana Competition in Kyoto

I felt so lucky to be able to stop by Kyoto again last month (it is one of my favorite cities in the world) but not only that, I happened to pass by these awesome Ikebana competition that was held inside of and in front of Kyoto station (this stations is gorrrrrgeous!) — I was blown away!

These are BIG, too, and it was beautiful with spot lights in the dark.

It really is an art, right?! Each piece is just so amazing and really original. There were more, I wish I could have taken pictures of all… but I hope you see the greatness and that you enjoy these :)
