Meredith, NH

So I was in Meredith, New Hampshire over the weekend for my friend Liz’s girls celebration before she gets married in D.C…. (it’s this Saturday!) It was such a fun trip, I saw lots of beautiful fall scenery everywhere we went, here are some pictures from the trip… enjoy!

I always love coin-operated binocular viewers. This one was by the lake…

We took a train that goes around the lake for like an hour.

A red tree. Isn’t it romantic?

Driving around the lake…

These were so beautiful…

Stopped by this really tiny vineyard for a wine tasting. It was special.

On Sunday… it snowed…! Looking out the window from our lake house we rented… (you might not see well here, but it was snowing so much!)

Have a great day, everyone!

Autumn Color Week: Yellow

Jan and Earl from Poppytalk were asking and see if anyone was interested in joining them for an Autumn Color Week and so Heart Fish is participating this week, too! Rule is simple: Blog or flickr these colors each day — Monday::Yellow, Tuesday::Green, Wednesday::Orange, Thursday::Brown, Friday::Red! Come see my autumn color inspirations everyday this week here. I’d like to keep them to my original photos, but you can see everyone else’s color inspiration from the Autumn Colour Week Flickr Pool.

To start the Monday::Yellow, here are a couple shots I took in my neighborhood during a walk with Maia. The leaves are turning colors and falling, the air is cool and crisp… The Autumn moment right there. The best thing about having the four season is to actually see and feel the season changing. I think it is one of the most beautiful things that our planet earth brings to us.

Maia loves it, too. She loves the smell of the leaves…

Hope you had a great weekend. I hope you are off to a good start!

Fall Colors

I have been surrounded by such a beautiful fall scenery around here in NY, all the leaves are turning yellow, red, orange… but everyday, the leaves are getting less and less (noo!) and so before it all goes away, I wanted to post some pretty fall pictures for my/your inspirations. The colors are just amazing, nature creates the best colors!

Everything has taken around my neighborhood, Park Slope Brooklyn.

I want to use some of these pictures for my project’s color pallete. It’ll be pretty.
