Anita from UK wanted a custom print that has the number “1” on chipboard with white ink. I love printing on chipboard and the color combination! Another fun custom project, thank you, Anita!
The wood type number 1 on Vandercook press, all locked up and inked, ready to print.
To make the white come out stronger, I ran the chipboard 3-4 times…
It is 7.5cm x 7.5cm. Yes, we can do it in cm, too :)
Printed more “thank you” cards with wood types for my shop the other day and look what happened! “E” was backward :) It happens sometimes due to the mirrored wood type blocks, but thought it was fun to share it here. I flipped the “E” after this so just this only one.
In case you never seen this, this is something I print for my customers. I write a thank you note for each customer on the back of the card. You will receive one with your order*!
*not with poster orders, unfortunately… these cards are too stiff to include into a tube mailer :(
I have “Hello!” “Enjoy!” and “Thank U!” now. Let’s see which one you will receive…
It was time to restock my chipboard “thank you” cards for my shop… (You can see my Hello! cards and Thanks! cards by clicking the links) I actually printed “Enjoy” cards before, but never had a chance to share on Heart Fish and I printed some more… and this time, “Smile” cards, too :) When you order something from my shop, you will get one! With my hand-written thank you notes!
Type setting — printing 2 cards at the same time. I was working with some metallic ink (ohh, I can’t wait to show you guys what I was working on) and I loved the metallic blue ink so much that I decided to print my cards with it, too.
Everything looks so lovely on chipboards, don’t you think?
