The Arm Visit

Last Friday, I visited the Arm letterpress studio to help my friend print their save-the-date cards — I didn’t realize that it’d been a long time since I last visited! I knew it’s going to be fun printing with a friend, but I forgot how awesome that is to be in the public printing shop and work with lots of other people! The energy, the smell of ink, the sound of the presses cranking… all was great. And of course, we had fun printing and oh my god, their save-the-date cards came out soo great!

Some photos…

More Impression (on Vandercook Press):

I took this the end of the night, but all the presses were busy all day on Friday evening.

The Arm Flyers. Of course letterpressed and hand type set (I’m sure).

If you are interested in letterpress, they have workshops, too, you should check it out. Happy printing!

Another Holiday Market Tomorrow Dec. 19th

Kings County General Store people kindly invited me back and so I am doing another holiday show tomorrow, Sunday the December 19th at Southpaw in Park Slope. It’s sponsored by BUST magazine and it’s going on from noon to 7pm (The hours got extended) and the first 50 people would get a tote bag filled with goodies! Please stop by if you are in neighborhood or if you are planning to stop by GIFTED market, it’s walking distance to each other.

Happy Holiday Shopping! (I’m not done yet. aww)

10 Days Until Christmas

I saw this photo on Flickr (so cute) and realized that the count down has started! So everyday from here on until Christmas, I’ll be posting something I find in the city, my surroundings and things that have great Christmas spirit :)

Today, I saw a big group of people singing gospel music happily in downtown Brooklyn. It was freeeezing, but made my heart warm :) Only in Brooklyn!
