Today’s Bridge 11.27.11

Time is flying and flying with a new baby without much sleep… Can’t believe November is almost over! I hope you all had a nice thanksgiving holiday… We drove up to Massachusetts and had a wonderful thanksgiving with our family. Managed to travel with a baby, too!

Last Sunday, it was such a warm nice day (it’s been really warm! No complaints there.) and so I went to Brooklyn Bridge park with Mili. Sigh, this view. Never ever gets old. The scenery is changing to winter-like… and look what we found — a heart-shaped yellow leaf underneath the Manhattan Bridge :)

This is from last weekend, Saturday November 5th — it was a beautiful fall day and we all decided to take a long walk (yes, including our new addition, Mili!) around the neighborhood and of course, came to the Brooklyn Bridge Park. I remember last time we were here was when I was in a labor… and Mili was still in my belly… (I wanted to walk around so we came here.) It was very strange to think about now and then.

Leaves are turning colors… so pretty…

I got a new iPhone 4S — the photo quality is so awesome, I love it! :) *no filters for these photos.

On Sunday, November 6th, we took another walk around the neighborhood. The Brooklyn Bridge was so stunning with the late afternoon light…

It snowed the weekend before (!) but it’s been warm again. I hope it’ll be warm for a little more while… :)

Today’s Bridge 10.5.11

Today was a beautiful fall day! (It’d been rainy here in NY) We took a walk around our neighborhood, stopped by Brooklyn Bridge park and saw both of the bridges standing all nice and tall as usual.

Going to a nice dinner with Randy one last time :) Have a great evening, everyone!

Jane’s Carousel

Jane’s Carousel has been opened to the public since September 16th in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I finally walked by there last weekend — I LOVE that new area!

The Carousel is housed in an extraordinary new pavilion, designed by Pritzker-prize winning architect Jean Nouvel.

Jane’s Carousel is a completely restored historic Carousel, a gift of Jane and David Walentas.  Built in 1922 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, the carousel was purchased in 1984 and painstakingly restored to its original condition.

Can’t wait to take our little daughter here very soon! :)
