Moving

Today is a big day for us — we are moving to DUMBO loft! New keys, new loft, new neighborhood… I’m super excited :) I will try my best to be more organized at this new place… I will share some pictures along the way…

Here is a little sneak peek of my new studio area. For some very exciting reason, I had to set this up at the new loft… I will share the news when the time comes! :)

Have a great weekend, everyone, and I will see you all on Monday from DUMBO!!

Live What You Love 9th Edition (New Colors!)

Just wanted to let you know that I have printed the whole collection of the Live What You Love 9th edition and they are all up and available at my etsy shop!

A couple brand new colors…

I had been wanted to print it in seaform green (one of my favorite colors!) and finally did! :)

and I wanted to try some new shade of blue… I didn’t know what to call this blue so I named it “Sweet Blue” — it’s in between baby blue and light steel blue. It’s quite sweet as you can see :)

Along with these familiar colors, too. Oh, these are all printed on 100% cotton Lettra Fluorescent White paper (I’ve been printing on Pearl White) so the colors are more vivid and sharp, I think.

Live What You Love letterpress print in Grass Green (Yellow Green):

Live What You Love letterpress print in Red:

Enjoy!!

Only 1 Left…

psst. I just listed the last one of each Live What You Love print from edition 7 and 8 + the special edition 2010. I usually keep the last one just in case my customers claim it lost or damaged… and these are unclaimed for while now so I decided to list them — if you see your color, please gram them as I might not be reprinting them :)

UPDATE :: ALL SOLD OUT! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Megro Press

A while ago, I had a little visitor from Japan, Yoko from Megro Press. It was so very nice to meet her as she is starting a letterpress business in Japan and be able to talk to her about letterpress and what made us go into letterpress etc. at my letterpress studio I’m renting. And now she is back in Tokyo, she put together a report from the visit both in English and Japanese so please visit her blog here and read about my studio… :)

Her blog also covers cool designs and letterpress things in Japan, you should check it out :)

Thank you so much, Yoko-san, it was so lovely to meet you!
