Mili Turned ONE!

Last Friday, October 12th 2012, Mili turned ONE! And yesterday, she had her first birthday party with our lovely friends :) I have been meaning to do a post about this special moment with all the monthly pictures, but oh gosh, do I ever have enough time to do everything I want to?! (NEVER!) Just wanted to do a quick update and let the world know that our little baby girl turned one and that WE LOVE HER SOO MUCH, Mili!! I will sit down and write about our whole year soon with all the 12 pictures.

p.s This photo shoot was the hardest one EVER. She is so aware of lots of things and she wanted to grab the scrabble tiles and play with them so badly even though I tried to place them secretly and quietly while I played something to distract her, but she knew exactly what I was doing! and she didn’t stay still AT ALL. Plus, they are chocking hazard so I had to hide them every time she tried to get them… Here are some outtakes :)

Souvenir Score Card

Fenway park

We went to a ballgame at the Fenway Park last night to celebrate Randy’s birthday a little early. I love this stadium, it’s the classic old one and the fact that was Mili’s first baseball game made it even more special!

I found this old Souvenir Score Card while walking around the stadium and I had to take a photo and share. How cool is this typography?! SO good! And it’s from 78 years ago. Such a timeless piece… Made me really happy!

And this made me really happy, too :)

9 months Mili

Mili turned 9 months yesterday! I can hardly believe… I thought I just did her 8 months post the other day! She has been crawling very well (and fast), pulling herself up to stand whenever she has a chance, and she is getting her first teeth! (the bottom two) She also started understanding what we are saying a lot more, shakes her head to let us know she had enough/she doesn’t want (but sometimes, she just does it for fun, too), it is so interesting to see her grow. She is a happy happy girl, giggles and laughs a lot, very expressive sweet little girl who makes us smile and laugh constantly :) Oh, her separation anxiety is at its peak, she is always with mommy, looking for mommy, mommy mommy mommy… haha

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July, everyone! It’s Mili’s first independence day. We are here in Massachusetts at my in-law’s house, did a BBQ with the family, Mili played with her cousin Grace… It’s been a great day :) We are heading out to the Cape Cod now to see some fireworks and settle in for the month — yup! We’ll be there for the month of July! I’ll be blogging here and there as usual so please visit often. Happy 4th!!
