Happy Friday, everyone! It’s a long weekend here in US (Monday is a President’s day holiday) and it is our 4th wedding anniversary weekend so my mind is all about anniversary! These letterpress cards from Fugu Fugu Press are so cute and perfect, I had to share :)
It’s been the best 4 years of my life, thank you, Randy, for all your love and support!!

Kathryn from blackbird letterpress was so very kind and sent me some of her letterpress samplers after exchanging few tweets about UPPERCASE magazine issue 8 and how we both received my LOVE print. She told me to “slip it in the mag like it came that way ;)”! And here they are. I received not only one, but two! yipeeeeee!
Love all her hand-curved arts. It really shows the warmth. “true LOVE” coaster is just perfect! (Our work was actually featured together at the UPPERCASE gallery, yay!)

Last year, lovely Lindsay from Lindsay Wilson Photography contacted me for another custom work with great news — it’s for her expected baby’s room! I was really excited to work on such a special piece.
She wanted to match the yellow so she sent in a paint chip and I happened to have the matching yellow nails that time :)
Wood type all set and the color came out perfectly. I was really happy how it came out for this special order. “I’ll eat you up. I love you so.” — a line from one of Lindsay’s favorite childhood books “Where the Wild Things Are”!
and recently, she posted some of the baby Wyatt’s nursery room photos on Heartfish Press Facrbook page and they made me so happy and I felt so honored — take a look!
She also has the SMILE print there, too, made me smile :)

Heartfish Blog has a new look now to go with the Heartfish Press website as you realized. Simpler and cleaner, has bigger images and I’ll be organizing contents more so it’ll be easier to find what you are looking for!
Anyways. My copy of the UPPERCASE issue 8 has arrived and guess what…? I received my own sampler (see everyone’s amazing pieces here)! What are the chances, right? I’m lucky that way, I guess… :) Well, someone else should enjoy this… so I have decided to give that one away here on my blog!
