Yes, I know, this is from 2002, but I watched “Catch Me if You Can” on the TV over the weekend and saw this amazing opening title sequence again and I remembered the first time I saw this — I was so drawn to it and thought it was one of the best opening title sequences ever. It’s been always in my head ever since, but I didn’t have a blog to post my inspirations at that time so I’m doing it now. Still gets me every time… so good! Love the music, too. Very inspiring and well done. Love the typography and the illustration, all works so well together. Enjoy!

Paper Dress
I was in mid-town yesterday and passed by this window display with gorgeous dress… made out of paper! It was stunning. I had to take pictures. It’s always so amazing to see what papers can do and what artists can do…
I am off to Washington D.C. today for a wedding (I had that in my mind when I took this pictures, too), I will be back on late Monday, I will see you guys all then! Have a great weekend, everyone! xoxo
Nice Package
I first saw Nice Package booth at last Saturday’s Brooklyn Flea and I thought it was the cutest package shop ever! I had to stop by and looked at all the cute little packaging materials and decorations, I wanted to buy every single thing just to have them.
They told me that their online store would open this week… and so I checked… yay, it is open! You can see what I’m talking about from their website as well as their online shop.
I bought this baker’s twine in red:
Cute cupcake toppers:
Garland shop front — it was so lovely:

More great cute stuff here…
Speaking of packages… I have been printing letterpress gift bags for the holidays… here is a little sneak peek… you will see more very soon — stay tuned!! :)
Wishing you all a Happy Friday and a weekend… I’ll be in Boston and NH for our friend’s wedding activities! :)
Brooklyn Flea
Last Saturday, I stopped by Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene — It was so great! I guess I hadn’t been there this year yet, I was surprised it got really big! I might have to go check it out every weekend now… (until they close for winter time.)
I found lots of inspirations, letters, took some pictures — enjoy!
Vintage signage:
Found F:
R, U, O — they are BIG.
Glass jar — I like the star.
Cool old stamps.
Vintage pattern little suitcase.
Three Potato Four had a booth there! Lots of wood type blocks!
S & B hiding in the box…
E X — I also like the vintage school wall clock.
I actually have one more post from Brooklyn Flea… so see you later soon!
