Found Type: Brick Buildings
There are a lot of old brick buildings in DUMBO and I always find awesome types! Just love how they look and feel, its texture… gets me every time. (as you may already know.)

13 Years and Counting
13 years ago today, I came to United States with just 1 suitcase… and now, I’ve been a proud permanent resident! Every year, on June 3rd, I think about the day I left Japan and arrived in San Francisco… it’s funny how life happens and how time flies… but I’ve been pretty happy throughout :)
This has nothing to do with my US anniversary (well, maybe?!) but there is a Commodore Perry‘s house few blocks from our new loft in Vinegar Hill. Without his visit, I don’t know what Japan would be like right now… and his house is gorgeous!!!
Cool Driftwood Bench
There is this coolest driftwood bench in DUMBO. At the little triangle area (I don’t think it was here before). Always catches my eye…
Speaking of seating… we found our new couch after hunting around for more than a month!! Our new dining table is coming this weekend, too, things are slowly, but surely coming together, so exciting! Can’t wait to share the photos :)
