I brought back this cute boutique leaflet from Tokyo back in 2010. Mili just pulled this out of nowhere, and I like the illustration pattern so before I throw this away, just posting it here for an inspiration. The boutique was called bulle de savon and it was so cute, too :)

West Elm Market
West Elm Market just opened in DUMBO, I went there to check it out when opened on October 25th. (and got a free tote bag!) I enjoyed the new shop very much :) Took a few photos that caught my eye. Not everything, though, that would have been too much to post…
Cool laundry bags:
Candy shop!
Lots of nice and cool package designs…
Loved these Garlic pots:
I even wished I needed these hoses:
Indeed!
They have a cafe area where you can sit, that’s nice. I know I’ll be doing lots of holiday shopping here… :)
Arty Chairs
There are these cool arty chars in the new area on Old Fulton Street by the Pier 1. Caught my eye.
This one below is my favorite :) Reminds me of Maia the dachshund.
This the the new area that they added:
There are few more cool ones, but people were using them so I didn’t take pictures…
We are stuck at home for the Hurricane Sandy to pass today… hope nothing serious happens… Stay safe and dry if you are in East Coast! xo Hijiri
Neon Love
All summer long, I was enjoying my neon toe nails and neon sandals (see picture :)) — and look what I found! Neon yellow handle spoons!
And neon pots!
They are both from SHELTERBLACK. They have tons more cool and neon stuff, I was in love immediately. I think I’m going to print in neon colors soon… stay tuned on that…
Hope you had a nice long labor day weekend!
