Still have a few more posts from NSS… Moglea booth was definitely one of my favorites. Meg is always so fun to chat with, her collection is always so beautiful and unique, it was my pleasure stopping by her booth!

Up next is Fugu Fugu Press — I’m a big fan of their cute cards and it’s always so nice seeing Shino and Ken. I’ll be so happy to get any of their cards!

Blackbird Letterpress — Love visiting their booth always, too! Kathryn had some new collection, I love the typewriter series… wish I had more time to look at everything!

Pistachio Press — Rachel had an awesome minty green color booth this year and I really liked it. One of her new state print below caught my eye <3

Anemone Letterpress — So great to see Carrie and Wally, and look at these cards! I love the pattern and the color so much. Carrie prints her cards with such tight registration and it’s always peeeeeerfect. I get jealous sometime :)

National Stationery Show 2013 part 2

Continuing my report from NSS this year… It was really awesome to see the Letter & Lark booth and finally meet Colleen in person! Her booth was filled with such sweet and delicate letterpress awesomeness, made me feel so warm by visiting her booth.

Love the woodland creature series (above) and this terrariums prints (below) — so sweet!

and right next to her booth was Parrott Design Studio booth. Lovely to meet Sarah and to see her amazing usage of colors and pretty lettering like these pictures below!

I loved The Paper Cub Co. and Sass & Peril booth below. It was just so cute! I’d like these posters for Mili’s room, please…

Printerette Press had some really nice letterpress goodies — LOVE this pattern below. They were using this pattern on the back of their business card, too, I couldn’t help but grabbing one.

Loved stopping by the Fancy Seeing You Here booth and finally meet Sarah as I’ve missed meeting her last year. These cat prints and cards always make me smile :)

National Stationery Show 2013 part 1

Last Sunday, I went to see the National Stationery Show at the Javits Center — it was amazing. I am so inspired and excited by all the creativity I saw!! It was really nice to see some of my favorite stationers and it was really awesome meeting new talented people, too. I snapped a few photos (not enough!), I will be posting them all here for the next few days…

The above card is from 12fifteen design + letterpress — Love the simple yet sweet card with a heart! <3 They were with the Ladies of Letterpress (can’t believe it was 2 years ago)featuring others like Ari Press, Black Heart Letterpress, Bowerbox Press, Creativity, Grey Moggie Press, Les Bois Letterpress, Noteworthy*Paper & Press, Pressbound, Steel Petal Press — Nice to meet some of you there! Couldn’t take much photos here as I was busy talking to people…

Next up is from Power & Light Press — their booth definitely caught my eye. I really like the “I bet you use Helvetica” card!

Ink Meets Paper — congratulations on their debut on NSS! It was so lovely to meet Allison and Daniel, their booth was filled with so many lovely letterpress cards. I love that their logo has a little heart like ours :)

Brainstorm — They had great posters! I first saw their work at the Renegade Craft Fair and have been a fan since.

I like the Atmosphere, Earth and Ocean series, but I really like the wild flower poster on the bottom… so lovely!

Spider-Man in DUMBO

A couple of weeks ago, I was walking around my neighborhood and saw these posters above and thought it was so cool for a NYC Ballet. Snapped a picture without realizing that this was a prop for the new Spider-Man movie until few days after… The whole neighborhood was covered with the Spider-Man world!

There were more, but aren’t these great?! I can’t wait to watch the movie and spot these on the background…

It’s a bit hard to see, but there was a crowd right under the Manhattan Bridge one day and I heard a lot of fireworks sound… oh and I did see a Spider-Man :)
