LOVE print

Hi there! I hope you all had a great weekend… did you watch Super Bowl? Or Puppy Bowl? :)

Heartfish Blog has a new look now to go with the Heartfish Press website as you realized. Simpler and cleaner, has bigger images and I’ll be organizing contents more so it’ll be easier to find what you are looking for!

Anyways. My copy of the UPPERCASE issue 8 has arrived and guess what…? I received my own sampler (see everyone’s amazing pieces here)! What are the chances, right? I’m lucky that way, I guess… :) Well, someone else should enjoy this… so I have decided to give that one away here on my blog!

  1. Great giveaway! My favorite love song is Love and Affection by Joan Armatrading and my hokey second choice is Love Me Tender (I know, but I love it).

Funny how so many love songs are not love songs at all, but are the sentimental bests of the listener.

  2. I have been eyeing these prints for awhile now! So lovely.
My favorite love song would have to be “You and Me” by Lifehouse.

  3. “Further On Down the Road” by Taj Mahal. It’s going to be our first dance song at my wedding!

  4. Hey! Poppytalk sent me here! LOVE the print :)!
My favorite love song is Sign Sealed Delivered. It was the first song played after my husband and I said I Do.

  5. Love song I love: I Melt With You by Modern English !
Also love the texture of this LOVE print.
    “The future is open wide…”

  6. It’s so pretty!

For me it’s definitely Can You Feel the Love Tonight.
    Absolutely timeless, no?

  7. It’s an oldie but a goodie! Kind of more a wannabe love song but one that I absolutely love. It’s “How do I get you alone” by Heart!!!

  8. It is the one my 5 year old son has written for me although he claims ‘it is not a love song as we are not doing love songs’. He stages a family concert to perform it for us. Thanks for the opportunity.

  9. “Always Will Be Yours” by T.J. McCloud was our song at our wedding and we our wedding vows on some of the lyrics. It always makes me think about our wedding when I hear it.

  10. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this print. It’s so sweet.

My favorite new love song is “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
There is a line that goes “home is whenever I’m with you,” I melt every time.

  11. The Power of Love sung by Holly Johnson is my favourite Love song because I can loose myself and get swept away as he sings about the realms where the free part of us can be consumed by desire, deep affection, passion and imagination, that can only function over ordinary time and space.

  12. My favorite love song is Hush by Angus and Julia Stone. I feel like it was written for me and my boy!

  13. My favorite love song is “Good Morning” by John Legend. I first discovered it when my fiance played it for me. This print is beautiful!! I think it would look absolutely lovely at our wedding reception :)

  14. My favorite love song is “something tells me I’m on to something good” by Herman and his hermits

    a classic!

  15. My favourite love song: “At Last” by Etta James. It was the song we danced too after getting married, I’ll never forget it. :)

  16. “Slow Show,” by The National. I think that counts? What a lovely giveaway – and an inspired prompt! Had a lot of fun reading people’s responses.

  17. This is a fabulous print!!! My favourite Love song would be I Love You by Martina McBride…it makes me smile every time I listen to it and cant wait till I too have a love like this.

  18. i am a ‘one band gal’…so my favorite LOVE song would
have to be…All I Want is You by U2…ok i do like John Mayer
    and Maroon 5 also…but U2 doesn’t have a song that I don’t like!

  19. Always feel my heart soar when I hear “Love is Here to Stay” sung by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

  20. I love John Coltrane playing “Say It” from the “Ballads” album. The lyrics to this song are beautiful, but he speaks volumes without saying a word.
