Hi there! I hope you all had a great weekend… did you watch Super Bowl? Or Puppy Bowl? :)

Heartfish Blog has a new look now to go with the Heartfish Press website as you realized. Simpler and cleaner, has bigger images and I’ll be organizing contents more so it’ll be easier to find what you are looking for!

Anyways. My copy of the UPPERCASE issue 8 has arrived and guess what…? I received my own sampler (see everyone’s amazing pieces here)! What are the chances, right? I’m lucky that way, I guess… :) Well, someone else should enjoy this… so I have decided to give that one away here on my blog!

  14. For Rosanna by Chris de Burg – a love song to his little baby girl. We discovered this song after our daughter, Rosanna, was born and she and her dad danced to it at her wedding. Makes me cry every time- happy tears.

  16. “Do’nt smoke in bed”, by nina simone. for me this song is about the love that keeps on going when a relationship is finished, it is so sad but at the same time shows the powerful connection between two human beings…

  17. I love your stuff. I found you via google! You love wins graphic came up . That would make a cool logo for my wedding photography business????? Anyways. My favorite song ” The other side of me” by micheal W Smith , even though its not a real hip swinging , making love to kind of song…it was the song I walk down the isle to . The day my life became amazing. It make not hit a spot for anyone else but it can make my insides mushy right away!

  46. “Come away with me” by Norah Jones, because that’s the song we played on our wedding as we walked out of the church. Also, because I am from Brazil and it was like he telling me to go with him wherever he goes.

  49. a tough choice no doubt…but one of my favourites is “muskrat love by the carpenters…not because it’s a great song, but because it is imprinted in my memory from my days in primary school – where true love began.
