Beautiful, I absolutely love this kind of typography. We don’t have that a lot in the Netherlands. So I’m always excited to come across it.

I love these signs! It always makes me happy when I find one that has survived the ongoing reconfiguration of Manhattan. The graphics are amazing, but I also love that they’re old enough to use letters in the phone numbers too.
I have to say these old worn out signs on the side of buildings absolutely fascinate me. They take us to times past and I imagine those b/w photos of NYC in the old days and those stilted films of ppl bustling around and imagine there was a little shop selling corrugated boxes, ah the sentimentality of it all!
I’m glad you guys are all into it, I will keep taking pictures as I see them — there are more in the city!
