All Diamonds

Found this art on Park Avenue and 52nd Street (I think) in Upper East Side in New York. It caught my eye and I thought it looked like something really gorgeous…

and I was right! This work was entitled “All Diamonds” by James Surls. I only saw this piece because I was crossing town on 52nd street to 3rd Avenue, but apparently, he has several sculpture work on Park Avenue.

New York is a big city and I hardly ever go this side of town, but I’d love to check out more of his work. I think it’s unique and stunning.

It is wonderful to see art and sculptures in public spaces such as this. It can really break up the gray matter in the city.

    Melissa-

I agree! It’s amazing to see how art can make such difference!
