I heard that there is a Dachshund Parade twice a year in Washington Square in NYC, one in April and one in October, from this dachshund lover when I was out with Maia. One just happened this weekend and we were so there with Maia. I guess we didn’t get there early so by that time we got there, lots of them went home or something, but there were still many dachshunds in the park! It was so funny. Maia had a blast, of course, and we had fun, too! We were inspired by a couple of dachshunds in Hays Valley where we used to live and that’s why we got one, but we had no idea how many of them are in NYC and how much people love them.
